FAQ’s
Is the show interactive?
Yes!
Whether it’s by the verbal interaction from the performers, visitors encouraged to act things out or even mid-way through the show when performers will be throwing beach balls into the audience; there will be plenty of interaction.
What is the recommended age for the show?
There are elements of the show to be enjoyed by all the family. However, the recommended age for the show is 4 to 11.
When should visitors arrive?
Doors will open 45 minutes before the session begins i.e. 10:15am for the 11.00am show and 1:15pm for the 2.00pm show.
It is recommended that visitors arrive at the Dermot Boyle Wing at least 30 minutes prior to the show’s start time.
Doors will close approximately 5 minutes prior to the show’s start time.
Will late arrivals be allowed in?
Visitors will NOT be allowed to enter the Dermot Boyle Wing once doors have shut. Given how visitors will need to navigate the tiered seating, to allow visitors in once the performance has begun would disturb and disrupt the performers. Likewise, although visitors will of course be allowed to leave the Dermot Boyle Wing at any point during the performance, once they have left the Dermot Boyle Wing after the performance has begun, they will NOT be allowed to re-enter.
Is there assigned seating?
After purchasing tickets in an individual zone, visitors will only be allowed to sit in only this zone with seats being commandeered on a first-come-first served basis. Therefore, visitors arriving closer to doors opening, will have a greater choice of where to sit than those who arrive later. The chairs in each zone will have colour-coded stickers to show visitors where to sit and a staff member/volunteer will be available to direct visitors to the seats allocated for their zone.
What are the differences between the zones?
As a rule, the more expensive the ticket, closer you are to the performers and therefore, have a better view and will have a better chance of being interacted with. The exception to this rule, is the Orange Zone which although closer to the performers will have a slight restricted view. This is reflected in the Orange Zone’s ticket price.
Will there be tiered seating?
Yes. The Disabled Access zone will be on the floor of the Dermot Boyle Wing. Behind that there will be:
• 2 rows of 18 seats which will make up the Blue Zone
• 4 rows of 18 seats which will make up the Pink Zone
• 3 rows of 18 seats + one final back row of 19 seats which will make up the Green Zone
The Orange Zone will have:
• 3 rows of 10 seats
What is the refund policy?
All tickets are non-refundable.
