this should be framed as a horror movie if anything. she's f*cking horrible. absolutely cruel, delusional and narcissistic. god forbid the boy you like is in love with a genuinely kind person!! the boy who is clearly apathetic to your existence by the way!!! this whole film just filled me with vitriol. and i get that she realised her wrongs at the end but she didn't even apologise to julia. this hurt to watch.

a performance full of love, flaws, obsession and heartbreak that explores physical quirks and still evoked so much pathos by the end — no matter how questionable the character’s choices have been.

very displeasing, disturbing as well.. in a bad way. many times i wanted to push the exit button but i was waiting for improvements.
the film normalizes toxic behaviors in relationships which in mc's case might be a result of a trauma. hence, she was having hallucinations which should've been addressed in a sensitive manner, instead all there were were criticisms and disdain. idk how ppl can equate mc's situation as just going too far for love when clearly something was no longer normal. mc wasn't just being delulu, she needed professional help. the film should've acknowledged the symptoms she was having and developed the story considering that (not just by simply moving on, like??). it would've relayed a stronger…
