Make any carnivore fall in love with plant-based food by serving these mouth-watering Beyond Meat recipes! Hearty comfort food favorites without any animal products. The following vegan sausage rolls are quick and easy to make, crowd-pleasing, and great party food!
Serves 12 pieces
Ingredients
Beyond Meat Sausage Rolls
- 6 Beyond Meat sausages cut into smaller pieces
- 1 sheet vegan puff pastry thawed
- 2 tablespoons aquafaba chickpea liquid, for glazing
- Sesame seeds optional for topping
- Dips of your choice
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice your puff pastry into 6 even rectangles and place one vegan sausage on each rectangle.
Roll them up one by one and slice each roll into 2 or 3 equal-sized pieces, depending on how small you want your vegan snacks to be.
Line all puff pastry “pigs” next to each other on your prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
Brush each roll with the aquafaba and sprinkle with a few sesame seeds.
Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and flaky!
Serve with your favorite dips such as ketchup, mustard, vegan mayo, jelly, or buffalo sauce.
Notes
- If you can’t find Beyond Meat sausages, try Impossible Meat, Field Roast, Upton, Tofurky, or Yves.
- You can add some vegan cheese on top of each sausage before baking if you like.
- Store any leftover vegan pigs in a blanket in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
